Welcome to Summit Distributions. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of SummitDistributions.com and purchases made from Summit Distributions.
By accessing our website, placing an order, or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any policies referenced within them, including our Return & Refund Policy and Shipping & Delivery Policy.
1. Orders & Acceptance
All orders are subject to acceptance, payment verification, product availability, and these Terms & Conditions.
Summit Distributions reserves the right to refuse, limit, hold, or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including due to:
- Product availability
- Pricing or website errors
- Incorrect product information
- Suspected fraud or unauthorized payment
- Shipping restrictions
- Supplier or manufacturer availability
If Summit Distributions cancels an order after payment has been collected, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
2. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, specifications, dimensions, model numbers, compatibility information, and other product details.
Manufacturers may change product designs, packaging, specifications, model numbers, components, or appearance without notice. Product images may be representative and minor differences may occur.
Customers are responsible for reviewing product specifications and determining whether a product is appropriate for their intended application before ordering.
If you are unsure whether a part will work with your trailer, RV, concession trailer, cargo trailer, utility trailer, or other application, please contact Summit Distributions before ordering.
3. Pricing
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate pricing. However, typographical errors, technical errors, supplier changes, or other pricing errors may occasionally occur.
Summit Distributions reserves the right to correct pricing errors and to cancel an affected order when necessary.
If payment has already been collected for an order affected by a material pricing error, we will contact the customer regarding available options or issue an applicable refund.
Prices and promotions may change without notice.
4. Payment
Payment is due according to the payment options provided during checkout.
For backordered products, payment is collected when the order is placed unless otherwise stated.
Orders may be subject to payment verification and fraud-prevention review before shipment.
5. Product Compatibility & Installation
Customers are responsible for confirming that products are compatible with their intended application.
Products involving electrical systems, propane or gas systems, plumbing, appliances, brakes, running gear, structural components, or other safety-related systems should be installed by a qualified professional when appropriate.
All installations must follow applicable manufacturer instructions and federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
Summit Distributions is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, modification, misuse, incorrect application, or failure to follow manufacturer instructions.
6. Returns
Eligible products may generally be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to our Return & Refund Policy.
Prior return authorization is required. Customers must contact Summit Distributions for return approval and instructions before sending merchandise back.
Unauthorized returns may be refused.
Summit Distributions does not charge a restocking fee for eligible returns under the current policy.
7. Installed, Used or Modified Products
Products are generally not returnable after they have been installed, used, wired, plumbed, cut, drilled, modified, damaged, or otherwise altered from their original condition.
Exceptions may apply when Summit Distributions shipped the incorrect product or when a product is defective.
Defective products may be subject to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty and warranty procedures.
8. Electrical & Electronic Products
Electrical and electronic products may be returned within the applicable return period if they are unused, uninstalled, unmodified, and otherwise meet our return requirements.
Electrical or electronic products that have been installed, connected, powered, used, or modified are generally not eligible for return unless the product is defective or Summit Distributions shipped the incorrect item.
9. Special & Custom Orders
Special-order, custom-order, made-to-order, and specially sourced products are generally final sale once the order has been submitted to the supplier or manufacturer.
Exceptions may apply if Summit Distributions shipped the incorrect item or the product arrives damaged or defective.
10. Order Cancellations
Customers should contact Summit Distributions as soon as possible to request cancellation.
Orders may generally be canceled before they have entered processing or shipped.
Once an order has entered processing, been packaged, transferred to a carrier, or shipped, cancellation cannot be guaranteed.
Special-order and custom-order products may not be cancelable after the order has been submitted to the supplier or manufacturer.
11. Shipping
Shipping charges and available services may be calculated using the shipment’s destination, weight, dimensions, carrier, service level, and other applicable factors.
We ship using parcel carriers and may also ship large or heavy products by LTL freight or pallet.
Delivery and transit times displayed on the website are estimates unless expressly guaranteed by the applicable carrier.

12. Shipping Damage, Loss & Carrier Claims
Customers must inspect shipments promptly.
Shipping damage should be reported to Summit Distributions within 48 hours of delivery.
Customers must retain the damaged product, shipping carton, packaging materials, labels, and other relevant materials while a claim is being investigated.
Customers may be required to contact UPS, USPS, FedEx, an LTL freight carrier, or another applicable carrier regarding a shipping claim. Summit Distributions will provide reasonable assistance with carrier claims when appropriate.
For packages marked delivered but not received, customers should first check the delivery location and contact the applicable carrier. Summit Distributions may provide additional assistance when appropriate.

13. Incorrect Items Shipped by Summit Distributions
If Summit Distributions ships an incorrect product, please contact us promptly.
Once verified, Summit Distributions will arrange an appropriate correction and will be responsible for reasonable return and replacement shipping costs associated with our shipping error.
14. Customer Ordering Errors
Customers are responsible for confirming product selection, quantity, dimensions, specifications, and compatibility before ordering.
If an eligible product is returned because the customer ordered the wrong product, changed their mind, or no longer needs the product, the customer is responsible for return shipping.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable for customer-choice returns except where otherwise required by law.
15. Backorders
Products designated as available for backorder may not be immediately available for shipment.
Payment is collected when the order is placed unless otherwise stated.
Estimated availability and shipment dates are estimates and may change due to manufacturer, supplier, transportation, or other delays outside Summit Distributions’ reasonable control.
16. Manufacturer Warranties
Certain products may be covered by warranties provided by their respective manufacturers.
Warranty coverage, eligibility, exclusions, procedures, and remedies are determined by the applicable manufacturer.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Summit Distributions does not extend, modify, or replace a manufacturer’s warranty.
Summit Distributions may provide reasonable assistance to customers seeking manufacturer warranty service.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Summit Distributions will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the installation, use, misuse, modification, or inability to use products purchased from us.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to waive or limit any right or remedy that cannot legally be waived or limited.
18. Website & Intellectual Property
We attempt to maintain accurate and reliable website operation but cannot guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
Summit Distributions branding, original photographs, graphics, written descriptions, logos, and other original website materials may not be reproduced or commercially used without permission except as permitted by law.
Manufacturer names, trademarks, logos, and product names remain the property of their respective owners.
19. Changes to These Terms
Summit Distributions may update these Terms & Conditions periodically.
Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
The policies applicable to a purchase are generally those in effect when the order is placed.
